Recycling Initiatives

Every Can Counts U.S. is bringing recycling to the heart of the action. From Mardi Gras parades to World Pride celebrations — plus festivals, concerts and sporting events nationwide — we team up with nonprofits and volunteers to make it easy to recycle aluminum beverage cans on the go. Together, we’re turning big moments into opportunities for lasting environmental impact.

Mardi Gras Recycle Dat!

Over 100,000 used beverage cans recycled during 2025 Mardi Gras festivities! This annual initiative supports a cleaner, greener Mardi Gras by providing recycling hubs along the parade route. Aluminum cans, glass, beads, and more can be recycled through community partnerships and designated drop-off points.

National Links Trust Golf Partnership

Every Can Counts U.S. is teaming up with National Links Trust in Washington, D.C. to bring a self-sustaining recycling program to municipal golf courses. Proceeds from recycled aluminum will be reinvested in environmental projects at the course.

Cans for Cash

This recycling program offers cash for empty aluminum cans in areas with limited access. Cans for Cash helps reduce waste, support local economies, and protect nearby waterways.
