At the 10th anniversary edition of the Mountain Music Fest, held from August 1 to 3 in the Divčibarska Forest, our local chapter, Svaka limenka se računa, successfully encouraged festival-goers to actively participate in recycling aluminium cans.
Several recycling ambassadors were on-site with backpacks for collecting empty cans, offering festival-goers vouchers for free drinks in exchange for ten collected cans, using the innovative Smart Flex Return System. This concept particularly motivated attendees, making recycling a fun and accessible part of the festival experience.

A unique art CANvas made from empty cans was also displayed at the festival, attracting significant attention from the public and reinforcing the visual message of the project. Two artists painted 3 CANvas live on-site. The integration of the project into the environmentally conscious and nature-adapted concept of the festival, including the solar-powered stage, demonstrated how recycling can and should be an integral part of every event.
Svaka limenka se računa once again proved that responsibility towards the planet can be combined with enjoying music and entertainment, sending a clear message that recycling is possible, and that an empty can is not waste but a resource.
The festival featured performers from various musical genres, from regional stars to interesting names bringing unique sounds. Among them were Letu Štuke, Vizelj, Nipplepeople, Coco Maria, Zoster, Porto Morto, Poly Ritmo, and Afriqua, who provided the audience with a rich spectrum of genres. Their performances and the accessibility of the stages allowed for direct contact with the artists, leaving many visitors with fresh and updated musical playlists.
