Οur Austrian initiative, Jede Dose zählt, seized the opportunity to participate in one of the most thrilling sporting events of the season – the Red Bull Dolomitenmann.

For the 36th time, the “toughest teams under the sun” came together in Lienz, Austria, to compete in an ultimate test of strength and endurance across four demanding extreme sports: mountain running, paragliding, mountain biking, and wildwater kayaking. Our team joined this spectacular event for the second time to give their all for drink can recycling!

From the heart of Lienz’s main square to the Dolomitenstadion, our recycling ambassadors embarked on a mission to educate visitors about the importance of can recycling. Not only did they champion the cause of recycling, but they also played their part in ensuring that this incredible sporting event remained environmentally friendly.

The Red Bull Dolomitenmann is undoubtedly one of the most extreme team competitions on the planet. It pushes athletes to their physical limits and challenges their mental strength. As athletes raced through the stunning Dolomite mountains, soared above the landscape with paragliders, and sped down treacherous biking trails, our team was right there with them, but its mission was unique. Armed with backpacks and a passion for recycling, they engaged with spectators, emphasizing the significance of recycling empty drink cans.

By encouraging responsible recycling practices, we aimed to make a positive impact not only on the event but also on the broader community. The beauty of the Red Bull Dolomitenmann lies not just in the incredible athletic feats it showcases but also in the shared purpose among participants and spectators alike. It’s a reminder that no matter how challenging the task is, we can achieve remarkable things when we come together with a common goal.
