One of the Every Can Counts 2023 stops was at the CieszFanów Festival, one of Poland’s most famous rock festivals from August 17 to 19. In addition to showcasing renowned rock bands, the festival also provides a platform for young musicians to showcase their talents to a bigger audience. Our initiative, Każda Puszka Cenna, was invited to participate for another year.
At the CieszFanów, Każda Puszka Cenna had three days of great music and an audience of 10,000 people to educate about the importance of drink can recycling. One of the festival’s unique features was the Every Can Counts letter cages for recycling drink cans and a huge red guitar used for the same purpose. Also, our recycling ambassadors, equipped with backpacks, inspired, encouraged, and empowered visitors to recycle their empties. The team engaged with festival-goers, explaining the benefits of recycling and providing information on how to recycle drink cans.
This year, our team decided to extend the memories of the festival by having a special competition. During the three-day event, our recycling ambassadors collected autographs from artists performing on stage on a t-shirt, and the t-shirt became an award in a social media contest on Każda Puszka Cenna’s profile.
