THE WALL

WERSJA

The wall

“The Wall” was created out of over 50.000 used beverage cans collected in Poland to become part of a unique streetart performance at the BNP Paribas Green Film Festival.

On August 14th, next to the Wawel Castle, we have created an art referring to topics explored through 7-day festival, including

  • Mission climate
  • Earthlings
  • Hostages of coal and oil

Aluminium is a permanent material

… which means that it can be recycled indefinitely without loss of quality

Remarkably, 75% of the aluminium ever produced is still in use today

Currently, 80% of aluminium cans are collected and recycled in Poland – slightly more than the European average (76%)

From the point of view of environmental protection, recycling of aluminum cans is desirable and extremely effective – it saves up to 95% of the energy needed for production from primary raw materials
