This summer, our Polish initiative, Każda Puszka Cenna, returned to the Jarocin Festival, Poland’s oldest rock festival. For three exciting days, over 30 artists performed for nearly 10,000 people, and our team took the chance to inform the audience about the importance of recycling drink cans.

The festival happened during some of the hottest days this summer, and the energy from the crowd was even higher. With so many people enjoying drinks, there were lots of cans to recycle, and we were there to help festival-goers recycle on the go.

Każda Puszka Cenna brought along some of the programme’s signature assets to catch attention, like our backpacks, the fun voting box, and the eye-catching PixelCan installation. This time, they also showed people how a deposit system works. Thanks to the collaboration with RVM Systems, everyone could try out one of the machines used for these systems. Our team was there to explain why recycling drink cans is so important and how the deposit system helps.

In just three days, nearly 7,000 cans were collected through the campaign and then recycled. The proceeds were donated to a local charity, benefiting both the community and the environment.
