Congratulations to all the #ReCycler winners across Europe!

Our #ReCycler competition on Facebook ended on October 2 and besides all the 13 national winners, the winner of the European competition, scoring more than 2000 points, is Camelia Lențoiu from Romania. Camelia wins an aluminium Ricicletta bicycle made from 800 recycled beverage cans!

Every Can Counts at the Tour de France in Liège

Last Sunday in Liège, Belgium, saw the launch of the Every Can Counts initiative in the BeNeLux region. With a large booth just a few meters away from the Tour de France finish line, the team welcomed over 160 visitors, took many pictures in the photo-booth and collected as many email addresses for future communication. Overall 30,000 people were present in Liège on Sunday 2 July 2017.

Combining cycling and drinks can recycling never made so much sense! The British Drops Cycling Team will wave the flag of Every Can Counts at De Ronde Van Vlaanderen, the famous Belgian cycling race taking place on 1-2 April. They will encourage spectators to make their cans count and spread the news of the upcoming launch of Every Can Counts in Belgium during summer 2017.

intu Trafford Centre wins recycling award

intu Trafford Centre has been awarded a national recycling award in recognition of its work with drinks can recycling programme Every Can Counts. The shopping centre implemented the Every Can Counts programme in June 2015 and the programme has gone from strength to strength. The shopping centre has 243 can collection bins in the centre, these are situated in all the retail and food court units alongside the staff areas.

The Oakley Adult Opportunity Centre run by Gloucestershire County Council, has been awarded a national recycling award in recognition of its work with drinks can recycling programme Every Can Counts.
