Adnams – CRUK Boat Race: Every Can Counts partnered up with Adnams Brewery to promote can recycling at the annual Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race in London. The Every Can Counts team were located in the Adnams beer garden to engage and increase awareness of recycling with over 7,500 visitors to the beer garden.
Festival Republic – Music Festivals: Every Can Counts promoted drinks can recycling across the UK at various music festivals including V-Festival, Latitude, Car Fest and Download. The Every Can Counts recycling zone within each festival utilised the CANdid camera photo booth and the ‘CAN you kick it’ football game to engage with visitors and get them to recycle their drinks cans. Every Can Counts covered 11 event days and targeted over 400,000 visitors to these festivals.
CANcycle Royal Parks: Every Can Counts team joined forces with the Royal Parks, London, to promote on site drinks can recycling. The Every Can Counts recycling ambassadors used branded recycling bikes to ride around Hyde Park over the summer and collect drinks cans from the public. Hyde Park attracts over 5 million visitors per annum and the Royal Parks in London attract over 77 million visitors per annum.
KAnival Krush at Notting Hill Carnival: Every Can Counts, KA drinks, SUEZ and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea worked together at the Notting Hill Carnival in summer 2016 to create the KAnival Krush zone. The KAnival Krush was a branded recycling can exchange are for recycling ambassadors to engage with visitors and encourage people to recycle their empty drinks cans in exchange for a free can of KA drink. This resulted in over 20,000 cans being recycled over the two day event.
Coca-Cola Christmas Tour: Every Can Counts joined forces with Coca-Cola on the 2016 Christmas Tour. The team engaged and promoted recycling with members of the public at 10 locations across the UK with over 57,000 cans being recycled at all the events.
