Can collection at Sea Dance Festival, an award winning music festival which is held at Jaz beach in Budva, Montenegro since July 2014

Recycling at coastal resorts: from 15 July to 30 September 2016 Svaka Limenka Se Racuna covered about 70% of the coastal resorts in Montenegro, including the municipalities of  Budva, Kotor and  Tivat. In June and July, the initiative organised 120 promotional days on nine different beaches and managed to collect around 2 tons of used beverage cans.

Cooperation with Trebjesa brewery (Molson Coors) on Festivals and in the framework of their CSR project "Our Beer Print": Trebjesa supported  Every Can Counts promotion at Sea Dance Festival  (77,000 visitors) and Lake Fest in Niksic (10,000 visitors). At our booth visitors could exchange empty drinks can for ECC branded T-shirts or cycle and crush cans on a static bike. Through the project "Our Beer Print" we provided the Trebjesa brewery with collection bins, banners and can collection. All their employees were collecting used beverage cans which thanks to two artists, Nikola Simonic and Marko Petrovic, were transformed into artistic sculptures.

Press conference in Podgorica about Producer responsibility in packaging waste management organised by the influential NGO Ozone for media and NGO representatives – Sharing results of the Every Can Counts initiative in Montenegro in 2016 was a positive example of industry activity and support in packaging waste management. Every Can Counts can collection activities are now recommended as best practice for schools in Montenegro.

Established partnership with Morsko Dobro: in September 2016 our partnership with Morsko Dobro allowed us to take part in an educational programme about the “blue economy”.
